The University of Vermont Health Network

Drag the arrows to the right to discover how we transformed the Fletcher Allen Partners brand architecture to reflect the new name and new network.

In fall 2014, The University of Vermont Health Network was launched in a rebranding conducted by SPM. The network, a 4-hospital system anchored by The University of Vermont's academic medical center, provides care at more than 30 patient care sites and 100 outreach clinics and programs in Vermont and northern New York. SPM was tasked with helping brand the newly formed, integrated delivery system. The recommended name change to "The University of Vermont Health Network" helps to clearly demonstrate their academic affiliation. And, the brand architecture overhaul reinforces strong ties to the anchor facility and high clinical integration. After investing considerable time and resources communicating with internal audiences to build buy-in, we introduced the new name and architecture to external audiences through an integrated marketing campaign.

Inspira Health Network

Drag the arrows to the right to discover how we transformed two separate brands into the Inspira Health Network.

South Jersey Healthcare and Underwood-Memorial Hospital were two organizations serving adjacent and somewhat overlapping areas in Southern New Jersey. When the organizations decided to merge, SPM was hired to conduct a brand identity study and develop an overall brand strategy for the post-closing combined system. After extensive market research, including market landscape and brand equity research, the new system was named "Inspira Health Network" to reflect an organization that is more than just healthcare; it's healthcare that's inspired to deliver a higher level of care.
