Dan sits in on our internal strategic assessment meetings and helps turn new insights into fresh communications strategies. He keeps SPM on the leading edge of healthcare business and policy issues. When he's not uncovering new trends, you can find him serving on SHSMD committees and sharing his thoughts nationally by speaking at conferences, authoring posts for the SPM blog, writing most of SPM’s Red Papers and contributing content to industry publications.
Dan is one of SPM’s most masterful healthcare gurus. Dan holds two – count them – two master's degrees in the field, including one in Healthcare Administration and another in Healthcare Financial Management. Before SPM, Dan worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago developing business strategies for halo service lines. He also launched a successful healthcare technology company and spent three years teaching screenwriting. So he not only knows what works, but how to make it sound good.
