Shannon has certainly been around the healthcare block and back again. She started her career in recruitment advertising, focused largely on pharmaceutical and hospital clients. Fascinated by the healthcare category, Shannon joined SPM in 2002 and spent years cultivating her expertise in hospital branding and marketing strategies. She then spent a few years in sales and marketing at GE Healthcare, where she had the opportunity to see and touch “what’s next” in healthcare. Back at SPM, Shannon brings fresh perspectives and best practices from the flip side of the industry to her clients.

Why I love healthcare marketing:
“I used to hear, ‘healthcare is the one product that no one wants to buy,’ but after seeing some unbelievable innovations taking shape, I know we’re on the cusp of a major shift in consumer behavior. People will be living longer, healthier, happier lives. Knowing that I play a role in that, however small, is tremendously rewarding.”
