Responsibilities:
Channeling his passion for groundbreaking advertising, Jim leads the SPM creative team, inspiring them to explore new horizons and push creative boundaries. Under his leadership, our team builds unique, effective solutions for our clients that positively impact the bottom line. Jim never lets anything out of the door that isn’t the best work we can do. You can count on it.

Experience:
In his 20+ year career, Jim has worked at top agencies including, DDB, Ogilvy and Mather, and Cavalry, creating campaigns for iconic brands like Coors Light, Capital One, Fox Sports, American Express and Discovery Channel. His work has also appeared on high-visibility programs, including the Super Bowl and the Academy Awards, and has won numerous awards including Cannes Lion, The One Show, Clios, Communication Arts and others.

Why I love healthcare marketing:
“I’ve spent much of my career selling credit cards (debt) and beer (alcohol). Both which can make your life worse if not used the right way. It’s refreshing to work for clients that truly are making peoples lives better. Rather than the other way around.”

Education:
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, BFA in Design

Interests:
For someone who has made many, many television commercials in my career, I watch very little television. But I am always reading - or listening to - at least one book at all times. Support your local library!
